Decmil was appointed to design and construct the Woodstock Marble Bar Road upgrade works and realignment to nearly 63km of road located near Mt Webber in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
The works comprised sealing works, floodways and intersection works. The road is an important east-west connector between two major north-south routes – Great Northern Highway and Marble Bar Road.
The scope of works included:
- 350,000m3 fill
- 260,000m3 cut (24,000m3 in rock)
- 120,000m3 base course
- 600,000m2 2 coat seal
