AGL Silver Springs Facility comprises 5 well-sites capable of reinjecting sales gas back into a depleted oil reservoir for storage.

The Withdrawal project will allow AGL to inject and withdraw compressed gas as they require. Decmil was contracted to fabricate and install additional spooling at the 5 well sites as well as install new spooling within the existing compression facility.

Scope of works involved:

  • Fabrication, welding and installation of carbon steel pressure piping from 25NB to 150NB
  • Fabrication and installation of pipe supports
  • Quality assurance testing and documentation

Decmil was mobilised to site at the request of AGL, to complete and where necessary rectify previously commenced works.

The team were awarded additional works at Wallumbilla, which involved a protective coating system selection for above ground pipework, equipment and structural steel.

Decmil finalised the MDR and ITRs for the works.
