Decmil was awarded a design and construct contract by United Petroleum for expansion works at the Hastings Terminal in Victoria. Works included the construction of two new 25ML flammable storage tanks, extension to the existing loading gantry, associated product pumps, piping and fire protection systems and a further replacement of two existing tank roofs.
The scope of works includes:
- 2 x new 25ML flammable storage tanks (to be operated as 1 off ULP and 1 off diesel tanks)
- Fabrication and installation of 2 new 6 arm loading gantry
- Extension of the existing 2 bay 4 arm loading gantry to a 4 bay 6 arm gantry
- Reconfiguration of the existing entry gates and access to the gantry
- Extension of the existing forecourt turning area
- Upgrade to the gantry control system
- New power supply requirements for new electrical equipment
- Additional diesel and ULP transfer pumps
- Piping delivery system to accommodate the upgrade requirements
- Fire ring main extension, foam and cooling water to new tanks
- Extension of existing utilities to accommodate expansion accordingly
