Specialising in construction and engineering associated with supporting Coal Seam Gas (CSG) and Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) Projects, Decmil work with oil & gas industry clients to construct wellsites, downstream processing components, gas compressors and gas plants, non-process infrastructure such as control rooms, substations and workshops, and accommodation facilities.
Within Queensland’s booming CSG industry, Decmil continues to provide leading wellhead installation services and surface facilities to the Upstream Gas Gathering network for QGC.
Our experienced CSG personnel have an innate understanding of the unique challenges associated with CSG projects, backed by a history of lessons learnt and proven project management systems and processes.
Our experience in CSG encompasses:
• Fabrication, installation and construction
• Gas pipelines and plant
• Processing and compression facilities
• Upstream CSG surface infrastructure
Pluto LNG Project Site A – Onshore Civil Works
Decmil was contracted to complete civil works associated with the import and export pipelines (jetty and ship berthing facility excluded) for the storage and loading facility of Woodside’s Pluto LNG Project.
Gorgon LNG Project – Site Preparation
Decmil was awarded a contract by Thiess to construct various non-process infrastructure facilities as part of site preparation for the Gorgon LNG project on Barrow Island.
Wellsite Installation Services
Queensland Curtis LNG (QCLNG) will be the world’s first project to turn coal seam gas (CSG) into liquefied natural gas(LNG). The pipelines and facilities component involves constructing infrastructure to connect wells and process CSG and the water associated with its production.
