Decmil was awarded this subcontract for the design and construction of temporary and steel framed buildings as part of Thiess’ Site Preparation & Temporary Construction Facilities contract for the Gorgon LNG Project, located on Barrow Island.
The scope of work included the installation of temporary facilities, the fabrication, supply and installation of warehouses and workshops and related engineering and design.
Decmil delivered the following under the scope of works:
- Hire Equipment Contractor’s Workshop
- Mechanical workshop
- Maintenance shed
- Sheetmetal workshop
- Painting/insulation warehouse
- Fire & Emergency vehicle garage
- Bottled Industrial gas store
- Quarantine & Inspection Warehouse
- Chemical Storage shed
- Vehicle Maintenance Workshop.
