We offer a range of benefits that will allow you to work in a way that works best for you, no matter what stage of life you’re in.

Travel incentives
It’s important for everyone to regularly take time off, and this often means taking a holiday where you can get away and unplug. Holidays are more than just an escape from reality – they improve your mental health, strengthen relationships and increase productivity and creativity. The simple activity of planning and thinking about a holiday can make you happy!
Decmil want you to feel comfortable and supported when you take your well-deserved break or time away. In collaboration with our corporate travel partner, The Travel Authority (TTA), all Decmil employees are eligible to receive exclusive travel discounts.
Benefits offered include discount on packaged holidays, travel insurance, car hire exclusives, airfare exclusives and hotel exclusives.
Employee Assistance Program
Our employee assistance program (EAP) is an external program that we provide to all Decmil employees to support their mental health and wellbeing.
Converge International provides Decmil with EAP assistance including support and counselling for a broad range of personal and work related issues. Our EAP provides you and your immediate family members with access to professional counselling and support services when you need it most. Our EAP can provide assistance to those struggling with mental health issues such as anxiety or depression in a confidential environment with a qualified professional. You have access to 24/7 counselling and support from Converge. Appointments can be requested through the 24/7 phone line, online and through the EAP app.
Senior Leadership Development Program
Decmil’s goal is to develop strong leaders now and in the future, at every level of our company. We want our leaders to drive our shared vision, values and culture throughout Decmil through modelling exemplary behaviour and leadership. Together, we can achieve success.
Decmil is here to support and guide your development journey as a senior leader within our company. We want to take you to the next level as a leader, and help you to inspire others, to nurture innovation, drive strategic growth and build a culture of success.
Referral Campaign Incentive Program
We know that you, our employees, are often our best recruiters. In the spirit of finding like-minded people to join our team, employee referrals should be our main source of candidates and offers our employees a great way to earn cash incentives to assist the business in building a great team.
Diversity and Inclusion
Our goal is to reflect the diverse community we work in and create a great place to work for everyone. By embracing the individual skills, perspectives and experiences our people bring to the workplace and harnessing these for high performance and improved delivery.
Decmil’s commitment is to provide employees access to an inclusive environment which supports full participation at work. In turn creating a work culture where employees feel included, valued and respected. Decmil want to retain the diverse talent within our workforce and support our people to maintain a long and productive working career.
Decmil is committed to providing a safe and inclusive working environment regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, age, ethnicity, disability or social background.
Within Decmil, we are committed to driving reconciliation through fostering an environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are provided with the opportunity, training and support to fulfil their individual employment goals, and building positive long-term relationships with Indigenous communities and businesses.
Our commitment to diversity and inclusion is outlined in our strategies and policies, and our Code of Conduct. It is also supported by our Reconciliation Action Plan which details our actions to improve the employment outcomes and experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within our business.
