The Design and Construction of the Bena Bypass between Loch and Korumburra; and reconstruction of the Highway’s alignment between Loch and South Road, on the South Gippsland Highway presents a clear example of Decmil’s ability to deliver in the rural highway environment.

Work involved two adjoining contracts (carried out simultaneously and managed as one) and included the realignment and reconstruction of 5.3km of single carriageway, three new bridge structures, granular pavements, extensive landscaping and associated works.

One of the bridges was constructed over the South Gippsland rail line and involved complex design and construct considerations due to the extreme skew.

The contract also included the landscaping and planting of in the order of 150,000 plants, along with the construction of wetlands.

Delivering solutions.

We are committed to outstanding project management and delivery regardless of the scale or the intricacy of the work.
