Decmil was awarded with the Main Works for Bonalbo Multipurpose Service after the successful delivery of the ECI and Early Works scope.

The works include:

Diversions of services and Demolition of existing structures (Early Works) The existing Community Centre, Acute building, Staff Accommodation and various outbuildings are to be demolished. Existing services are to be diverted to provide continuance to the existing Caroona Residential Aged Care (RAC) and to facilitate staged demolition and occupation of new facilities.

Construction of new Acute and RAC building (Stage 1 and 2). A new building,

comprising both Acute care and RAC is to be constructed in two stages to allow for ongoing operation of the existing Acute facility, which is ultimately demolished to make way for the second stage of new building construction.

New Staff Accommodation building (Stage 2) – A new staff accommodation building is to be constructed.

Car parking and service vehicle access (Stage 2) – New illuminated car parking, upgraded vehicle access.
