Decmil was awarded the contract for the Brockman 4 expansion, a greenfields site 60km from Tom Price.
Decmil undertook the design, project management and construction of the Brockman 4 Workshops through to full commissioning of the fully integrated facilities which comprised of:
- Heavy vehicle workshop
- Light vehicle workshop
- Fabrication workshop
- Plant maintenance workshop
- Boilermaker workshop
- Tyre change facilities
The Heavy Vehicle workshop has a floor area of approximately 1,100 m2 and features a 50 tonne overhead travelling crane with a 5 tonne auxiliary, a crane maintenance access ladder and platform. Oil separation facilities and waste oil storage tanks were also installed.
