Decmil was awarded stages 1 and 2 of the Bundaberg Ring road project.
Stage 1:
Construction of a new 7.6km link between the sugar mills and the Bundaberg Port.
Works comprised:
- Bulk earthworks
- Pavements
- Drainage
- Signalised intersection
- 3 bridges over water and a 3 span bridge with 35m Super T girders over an arterial road
- Reinforced earth retaining wall
- Traffic signals
- Road lighting
Stage 2:
Construction of a new 7.4km link between the sugar mills and the Bundaberg Port.
Works comprised:
- Bulk earthworks
- Pavements
- Drainage
- Signalised intersection
- 2 span bridge over the north trunk rail line
- Noise barriers
- Road lighting
