The Chancellor Park State School project included an extension and refurbishment of the existing multi-purpose hall and the construction of a new resource centre, substantially increasing the educational opportunities offered by the school.
New facilities included:
- Interactive and multimedia rooms
- Multi-purpose meeting rooms
- Junior learning area
- Covered outdoor learning area
Decmil maintained an excellent safety standard throughout the works, outperforming all other school construction contractors in Queensland in both Queensland Government and Leighton Contractors safety audits at the time.
Works were completed with minimal disruption to students and staff and no safety incidents on site.
