This Green Star, 6 level mixed-use residential apartment building consists of 63 apartments (16 x 1 bedroom, 22 x 2 bedroom and 25 x 3 bedroom).
Decmil were engaged under an early contractor involvement agreement up to 80% design with a target budget. Decmil were then contracted to Design & Construct from 80% design.
Value Engineering Innovations
Optimized structural system: Decmil analysed various structural systems such as AFS, post tensioned concrete, reinforced concrete, light weight framing, etc. to find the optimal solutions in terms of time and cost.
Improved Buildability: Decmil engaged with sub-contractors to redesign the façade screens to improve buildability & lower cost.
Substitution of Materials: Decmil proposed substitutions of architects nominated materials for more cost-effective solutions.
