The Hervey Bay Surgical Hospital is a private surgical centre that provides quality and innovative surgical and diagnostic treatment for the local and surrounding community.
Works included the demolition of the existing medical centre and a complete refurbishment of an eight bed surgical centre with three operation theatres and x-ray facilities.
The purpose designed operating theatres and procedure room include state-of-the art theatre equipment, computer and audio visual equipment to perform complex orthopaedic surgery and general surgery. The surgery also offers day surgery facilities for Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Endoscopy and Dental procedures.
Decmil successfully completed the project over 12 weeks during the traditional Christmas period.
