The Immanuel College Early Learning Precinct was built as part of the Building the Education Revolution (BER) program.
Construction of this custom designed early learning precinct included an early learning centre, prep centre, outdoor learning centre and refurbishment of twenty classrooms in the secondary school.
The project included:
- Three prep classrooms
- Three rooms in the early learning centre (catering for two and a half year olds to five year olds)
- Two fenced best practice experiential play spaces
- A parental meeting space
- Rainforest arbour in the northern area of the early learning centre
Construction works ensured limited tree removal and planting of new trees to preserve the natural environment. Works were completed on schedule for the commencement of the 2010 school year.
