The works consisted of the design and construction of a rolling stock workshop and provisioning facility, a fully equipped wheel lathing building, an administration facility, warehousing and laydown storage facilities, diesel and other provisioning storage and dispensing, sewerage and water pumping and distribution, and oily water capture, treatment and disposal facilities.

  • Design and construction of rail terminal buildings including:
  • a rolling stock workshop;
  • wheel lathe building;
  • loco washdown;
  • warehouse & lay down areas;
  • administration buildings;
  • car park & associated services; and
  • Fuel / lube delivery systems and oily water treatment.
