Decmil was awarded a contract for the installation of in-ground services, landscaping and construction of buildings and facilities for the village.

Scope of works included the following:

Installation of in-ground services, landscaping and the following permanent transportable buildings:

  • 400 x three room and 40 x four room accommodation units (total 1320 rooms), laundries, crushed ice and chiller rooms
  • Facilities management office and crib building
  • Communication nodes
  • Gatehouse/security/first aid building and EPCM facilities

Design and installation of temporary central facilities including:

  • Dry mess and wet mess
  • Administration office
  • First aid room
  • Gymnasium
  • Ablution blocks
  • Ice rooms

Design and construction of recreation facilities including:

  • Cricket pitch
  • 2 multipurpose courts
  • Golf driving booths
  • Putting/chipping green
  • Swimming pool
  • Design and construction in-situ

Industrial Buildings including:

  • Bulk storage building
  • Facilities management maintenance workshop
  • Bus shelters
  • Undercover ambulance parking bay
  • Waste management facility

Design and construction of the water treatment plant and waste water treatment plant.
