This project includes the design and construction of satellite NPI facilities at Western Hill and the design and construction of satellite NPI facilities at Deposit H. The Project is located in the East Pilbara approximately 100 km east of Paraburdoo and approximately 110 km west-northwest of Newman.
SATELLITE NPI FACILITIES
Decmil’s scope of works encompasses the complete design, supply, manufacture, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of satellite NPI facilities at Western Hill and at Deposit H.
The facilities include an office building, crib room, locker room, ablutions building, alcohol and other drug testing building, wellness room, ice room and cleaner’s store, wastewater treatment plant (WWTP), access gates, and delineation store.
All facilities will be supported by comprehensive services including electrical systems, communications infrastructure, control systems, potable water supply, and fire protection systems.
MEDICAL CENTRE AND FIRE RESPONSE BUILDING
- Upgrading of existing medical centre at the West Angelas Village including
Renovation of existing meeting room in the medical centre to provide office space for additional emergency service personnel. - Construction of a new fire mitigation response building, known as a best practice, Airborne contaminants, Risk Reduction, Initiative and Operation (BARRIO) facility, to support firefighting response to Western Hill.
